This unit is in overall very good physical condition with no damage to be found and a minimal amount of wear. It has been sitting unused for decades and upon it's recent removal from storage it was tested and it was.

Found that the motor runs smooth and quietly and it looks like all of the parts function as they should. Except for a few keys that seem like they need to be lubricated as they get stuck down. I was going to free them up so I removed the cover and sprayed some lubricant in the keyboard. All I knew to do is keep pressing the keys and some came back to normal but a few are. Either getting stuck or return to the "up" position slowly. I realized that I didn't know enough.

About these things so I abandoned that project and then found that I didn't know how to. Reattach the typewriter to the case. The hardware I ended up with is pictured in a bag.

And there may be some underneath still. Even with the realization that I didn't know.

What I was doing, I did find that it types properly, the paper roller is in fine shape. Is relatively clean inside and out.

Cosmetically speaking it is in amazing shape. For the age with few signs of prior use. Included is an IBM typewriter cover that.

Most likely fits an IBM Selectric (1), which by the way I have one of sitting. It is in very nice cosmetic/physical condition but the motor is louder. And I couldn't get it to work immediately so I stuck it in a corner. Someone wants both we can work something out. Please see the pictures for further details.
